Meredith… Are you ever going to do a closet sale?
Are you ever going to do a closet sale? That is the number one question I get asked—and for good reason LOL
I have WAY too many clothes. Between my television wardrobe, shoots, hosting events, and brand gifts, let’s just say my closet cup runneth over (and over and over and over).
On May 2nd I joined the fabulous Consign Your Curves for the biggest plus size consignment clothing sale in Canada! Started 11 years ago by Carlie Robets, now run by Meghan Leigh Smith, it is an annual MUST attend event.
50 stylist plus size women set up their closets for everyone to shawp! I thought i'd have enough room with 2 racks, I ended up having FOUR. It was a day filled with incredible energy, connection and community. Anytime I get to meet you face to face is a good day for me, and WOW did you show up!!
By the end of the day there was hardly anything left on my racks and I am very happy to say that all of my proceeds from the sale are going to BabyLove (the largest Canadian charity dedicated to eliminating diaper insecurity in Toronto) and we raised $4,385!!! Now THAT is the power of community.
Good news! If you missed this sale, I will have some more of my wardrobe coming to Consign Your Curves very soon. You can visit them in store in Guelph and they often do ‘story sales’ online on instagram @consignyourcurves.
